Aftermarket Dodge 2500-3500 1994-2002 Bumper Kits

The Dodge 2500-3500 was a heavy duty pickup truck model produced by Chrysler Corporation from 1994 to 2002. It was part of the “third generation” of Ram pickup trucks, following the prior “second generation” model.

In its general design and engineering, the “third generation” model maintained much of the features of the previous model. However, it featured more modern styling, more advanced safety features, and increased towing capacity. It was offered in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive versions.

The powertrain of the Dodge 2500-3500 model consisted of a 5.9-liter V8 engine that generated up to 245 horsepower and 335 foot-pounds of torque. The powertrain options included a 6-speed manual transmission, a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The engine had inline injection, with a Bosch VP44 fuel pump for better fuel economy.

Alongside the 5.9-liter V8 engine, there were other powertrain options available on the Dodge 2500-3500, including a 7.3 liter diesel engine and a 8.0 liter Magnum V10 engine, depending on the model year.

In terms of equipment, the Dodge 2500-3500 was offered with a range of features, such as air conditioning, power windows and locks, driver and passenger airbags, ABS brakes, and AM/FM stereo system. It could also be fitted with an optional 4WD transfer case and locking differentials.

In regards to performance, the Dodge 2500-3500 was praised for its robust engine, smooth ride, and reliable handling. Its maximum towing capacity was rated at around 8,000 pounds, which made it suitable for pulling large loads. Moreover, it had a fuel economy rating of 13-17 mpg in city driving conditions, and 17-24 mpg in highway driving conditions.

Overall, the Dodge 2500-3500 was an excellent choice for those looking for a durable and dependable pickup truck for towing and hauling. It was well-equipped with modern features, had an impressive powertrain lineup, and could haul heavy loads with ease. It was a great option for those wanting a dependable, powerful, and versatile work truck.
