Build your perfect front bumper with the Classic weld-it-yourself kit. Designed with utility in mind, our flagship kit is constructed from heavy-duty 3/16" U.S. steel and laser-cut for your vehicle. Customizable to include protection options, light cutouts, center designs and custom text.

Each kit ships as raw, unpainted steel and includes the main bumper shell pieces, frame mounts, trim pieces, and optional clevis mounts (1/2 or 3/4"). Use factory bolts to mount the front bumper to your vehicle once the bumper kit has been welded and painted.

WHAT IS A DIY BUMPER KIT?

Our DIY bumper kits are a weld-it-yourself alternative to the expensive fully-finished bumpers on the market. You customize your bumper kit, and we ship it to you in pieces ready to be welded together and mounted to your truck, SUV, or van.Don't want to weld? Check out our Classic Prefab Bumper Kits! These prefabricated kits come in three main modular pieces that bolt together with common garage tools.

WHAT COMES WITH A DIY BUMPER KIT?

MOVE DIY Bumper Kits ship as an unfinished kit of raw steel pieces, including 5 main pieces, frame mounts, and a few trim pieces. You'll use your own factory bolts. The pieces are pre-cut and pre-bent to fit your truck’s specific make, model and year and come ready for you to fit and weld together, using your truck as the jig, before bolting onto your truck. Instructions and assembly drawings are included to help walk you through your bumper build.Please note: Cutting, mitering or coping is required for the tube portion of bull bar, prerunner, and full grille bumper kits.

WHAT ARE THE BUMPER KITS MADE OF?

Our standard bumper kits are made of 3/16" steel plate (9 gauge). Our offroad bumper kits (Classic and Embark) are made of 1/4" steel plate for the center section and frame mounts and 3/16" for the wing sections. All bumper kits are made in Montana with U.S. steel.

DO THE BUMPER KITS COME PAINTED?

No they do not. All bumper kits come as raw (unpainted) steel. Painting, powder coating or lining must be done after the bumper is welded or bolted together.

Decent bumper

"Bumper turned out great. I did have to cut a couple pieces to fit. I did not like the mounts to the frame either. They are L shaped but the top of it is like an inch above the frame rails on the truck. I feel like that should have sat on top of the frame for more suport. I wouldn't feel comfortable lifting my truck from the bumper because of it."

Looks great and works great

"I was a bit skeptical but tried this out. It turned out better than I would have thought. I went with the 2" tubing and 1/4" center section due to the amount if deer here in South Dakota. Getting everything just right to weld is a bit of a pain but well worth it. I coated the grille guard with bed liner after finding out, the hard way, paint wasn't going to last with the salt and mag water up north. Next pickup i get will also get a move bumper"
