Aftermarket Toyota Tundra 2007-2013 Bumper Kits
The Toyota Tundra is one of the most iconic and beloved pickup trucks on the market, and for good reason. The Toyota Tundra made its debut in 2007 and has proven itself worthy of the legendary Toyota name. With exceptional build-quality, performance, and features, the Tundra is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a reliable, hard-working vehicle that’s also great to drive.
The Tundra was originally designed to compete in the full-sized truck segment and was an immediate success. It was available in three different cab configurations: Regular, Double Cab, and CrewMax. All models offered seating for up to six passengers. The base model was equipped with a 4.0-liter V6 engine producing 236 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. A 5.7-liter V8 engine producing 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque was also available. All models came standard with Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) with 4-Wheel Drive (4WD) being an optional upgrade. Transmission choices included a 5-speed automatic and 6-speed manual on select models.
When it comes to luxury, the Tundra doesn’t disappoint. The interior is spacious and comfortable and offers a wide array of standard features. Standard equipment included air conditioning, power windows/mirrors/locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, and a 6-speaker audio system. Upper trim levels were equipped with leather seating, power driver's seat, audio controls mounted on the steering wheel, and navigation system.
The Tundra also comes with a variety of innovative features such as Toyota’s Crawl Control system. This system allows the truck to crawl along at a slow and constant speed while navigating rough terrain without the need for driver input. Other notable features include TOW/HAUL mode, which adjusts the transmission to improve trailer-towing performance, and Hill Start Assist, which prevents the truck from rolling backward on a steep incline.
When it comes to safety, the Tundra is equipped with an extensive list of cutting-edge features. These include dual front airbags, side curtain airbags, front and rear crumple zones, an Advanced Airbag System, and the Toyota Star Safety System, which includes Traction Control, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC).
For those interested in off-roading, the Tundra TRD Pro model offers plenty of capability. It comes equipped with a beefed-up suspension, heavy-duty skid plates, 17-inch wheels and tires, and other features to help make the most out of life off the pavement.
Overall, the Toyota Tundra is an outstanding pickup truck that excels in both performance and comfort. Its exceptional build quality and long list of features make it a great option for anyone looking for a reliable, hard-working vehicle that’s also great to drive.
