Aftermarket Ford E-Series Van 1975-1991 Bumper Kits

The Ford E-Series is a line of full-size vans that were produced in the United States from 1975 to 1991. It was the successor to the successful Ford Econoline, which had been in production since 1961. The E-Series remained in production until 2014 when it was replaced by the Ford Transit.

The E-Series was available in both Van and Wagon body styles and came in short- and long-wheelbase versions. It was equipped with either a standard 4.9 liter inline-six engine, or an optional 5.8 liter V8. A diesel engine was also available, though only briefly. All models were offered with either a four-speed manual or three-speed automatic transmission.

The van body style was available in regular or windowed variations, and its cargo area was accessible through a dual rear-hinged cargo door or two side doors. Some models also included a full-length roof rack on top of the van, allowing for additional storage space.

Inside, the E-Series could seat up to eight people in its two-row “Club Wagon” configuration. It offered more interior space than its predecessor and was available in several trim levels, including XL, Custom and Chateau.

One of the E-Series’ most popular features was its flexible seating arrangements. Customers could easily remove or add seats as necessary to meet their needs. This ability to be customized made the E-Series one of the most popular vans on the market at the time.

The E-Series was available in a variety of models and trims, ranging from the basic “Granada” model to the luxurious “Ranch Wagon”. The latter featured a unique roof rack and increased interior room, while the former was a stripped-down utilitarian version.

The Ford E-Series was a reliable and versatile van that served many generations of families, businesses, campers and tradespeople. Its long and varied production run meant that it was able to stay up to date with the changing demands of the market, and the combination of a durable design and easily customizable interior made it a favorite among many different types of customers.

Though the E-Series is no longer in production, it still remains a beloved classic with many fans of vintage and classic vehicles. Its simple styling, spacious interior and easy customization options make it ideal for those looking for a reliable and affordable vehicle that can fit their needs.
