Aftermarket GMC Yukon 2000-2006 Bumper Kits

The GMC Yukon model 2000 to 2006 was a full-size SUV produced by General Motors. It was the successor to the GMC Suburban and was part of the GMC full-size SUV lineup, along with the Chevrolet Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade. The GMC Yukon was available in two- or four-wheel drive configurations and offered seating for up to eight people.

The GMC Yukon featured a 5.3L V8 engine that was capable of producing 285 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. This engine was mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and was available with either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The 4WD version could tow up to 6,600 pounds of cargo and the rear-wheel drive model could tow up to 8,000 pounds. Fuel economy was rated at 16mpg in the city and 19mpg on the highway.

The exterior of the GMC Yukon was quite eye-catching and featured body-colored bumpers, bonnet and rear spoiler. The grille, lights and wheels were also body-colored to match the rest of the vehicle. The interior of the GMC Yukon was also quite impressive with leather trimmed upholstery, power adjustable front seats and an optional sunroof.

In addition to the standard features, the GMC Yukon was also available with a range of optional features and packages. These included a rear seat entertainment system, a tow package, heated front seats, a rearview camera, a power liftgate and a moonroof. The rear seat entertainment system consisted of a DVD player and LCD screen in the back of the vehicle.

Driver safety was also taken into consideration with the GMC Yukon as it came equipped with dual-stage frontal airbags, side curtain airbags, stability control and four-wheel antilock brakes as standard.

Overall, the GMC Yukon model 2000 to 2006 was a reliable full-size SUV that provided plenty of space for passengers and cargo. It was well-equipped with features, offered good performance and respectable fuel economy. With its attractive styling, roomy interior and powerful engine, the GMC Yukon model 2000 to 2006 is a great option for those looking for a full-size SUV.
