Aftermarket Ford Ranger 2001-2012 Bumper Kits

The Ford Ranger from 2001 to 2012 is one of the most popular compact pickup trucks on the market. The Ranger was produced in the United States and several other countries, including Argentina and Thailand. It was available in a variety of body styles and trims, ranging from basic work trucks to luxury models.

The first-generation Ford Ranger (2001–2011) was introduced to the North American market in 1982, based on a design that had been used in Europe since the late 1970s. The Ranger was a conventional two-door cab, with two small doors behind the main doors. It was available with either a regular cab or a crew cab, as well as a 2WD or 4WD drivetrain. The Ranger was powered by a range of engines, including a 2.3L4-cylinder, a 3.0L V6, and a 4.0L V6. A 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 4 or 5-speed automatic were available.

In 1997, the second-generation Ranger (1998–2012) was introduced. This Ranger featured a more angular body and a revised interior. It also received a number of technical improvements, including the availability of a 4.0L V6 engine and an OPT (optional powertrain) system which allowed customers to choose between two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, or all-wheel-drive. For 2003, the Ranger was redesigned with a number of exterior and interior styling changes, along with improved suspension and other updates.

For 2005, the Ranger received a facelift featuring a larger grille and headlight design, along with revised interior trim. The following year, Ford made major updates to the Ranger, including a revised exterior design and optional side airbags and a rearview camera. In 2008, Ford unveiled the redesigned third-generation Ranger (2009–2011), which featured improved fuel efficiency, a revised exterior, and a number of new features, such as an optional 6-speed automatic transmission and a Rear Park Assist system.

Ford stopped producing the Ranger in the US in 2011, but it continued to be produced in other countries until 2012. In the US, the Ranger was replaced by the F-150, which is currently the best-selling vehicle in the country.

Overall, the Ford Ranger from 2001 to 2012 was a great truck for those who needed a reliable and affordable pickup. It was a tough, dependable vehicle that could handle tough jobs with ease. With its rugged good looks, comfortable interior, and numerous options and trims, it was a truck that could do it all.
