Aftermarket Ford Bronco 1966-1977 Bumper Kits

The Ford Bronco was one of the greatest vehicles to ever come out of the Ford Motor Company. The Bronco was built and designed to be tough, reliable and affordable. It was the first utility vehicle to be made and sold by a major automobile manufacturer, and it was a huge success. From 1966 to 1977, the first generation of the Bronco had a great run in sales.

Beginning with the 1966 model year, the Bronco went through several improvements and updates. It was available as both a two and four-door body style. Initially, the Bronco came with a 3-speed manual transmission and an inline-6 cylinder engine. Over time, it received other engine options such as a V8 and the popular 302.

As times changed, so did the look of the Bronco. In 1974, Ford began using a new body style. This was the first significant styling change for the Bronco since its introduction. The body style saw several updates over the years, such as changing from a “round-top” to a “flat-top” design.

In 1975, the Bronco received a major upgrade. It now had coil spring suspension and a new powertrain option: the351 Windsor V8. It also had a more powerful alternator and improved electrical system. The 1975 model was the first in the Bronco lineup to feature the 351 engine.

The 1976 model year brought some minor changes to the Bronco, such as a revised grille and new trim levels. In addition, Ford included several upgrades to make the vehicle safer, such as energy-absorbing bumpers and an improved roll-over protection system.

The final model year for the first-generation Bronco was 1977. Ford added several features to this model, such as air-conditioning and power brakes. This model was notably the last model with the original body style.

The Ford Bronco is still a popular vehicle today due to its classic look and reliable performance. Collectors and enthusiasts alike enjoy owning an authentic first-generation Bronco. The Bronco has certainly stood the test of time and will continue to be a classic among the automotive world.
