The Chevrolet Suburban 2500 is an iconic piece of American automotive history. Built between 1967 and 1972, the Suburban 2500 was the full-size SUV of its time. It was the first four-wheel-drive vehicle to offer a combination of luxury, comfort, and off-road capability. Its predecessor, the suburban 1000, offered more off-road capability but far less luxury and comfort. The 1967-1972 Chevy Suburban 2500 was powered by a 5.7L V8 engine with an available 4-speed transmission.
