Aftermarket Chevy Colorado 2013-2020 Bumper Kits

The Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-size pickup truck that was released to the market in 2003. It is a perfect vehicle for those seeking a medium-sized workhorse that is reliable, comfortable and capable of off-roading. The 2013 to 2020 model years of the Colorado saw an array of updates and new features across the Colorado lineup.

The engine lineup in the 2013 to 2020 Colorado remained largely unchanged with two gasoline engine options, a 2.5L 4-cylinder and a 3.6L V6. The 2.5L 4-cylinder engine produced 200 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque. The 3.6L V6 engine produced 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. Both engines were available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. For 2017 and later, the truck was also offered with a 2.8L Duramax turbodiesel. This engine produced 181 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque and came paired exclusively with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The exterior of the Colorado from 2013 to 2020 featured updated styling with a modern look. Up front, the truck featured a large grille with the Chevrolet bowtie logo and projector-beam headlights. At the rear, it had prominent rear fenders and oval side mirrors. On the inside, the Colorado was built with a focus on comfort and convenience. It featured adjustable cloth or leather seating for up to five passengers, a touchscreen infotainment system, and plenty of storage cubbies throughout.

For its off-road capabilities, the Colorado was equipped with four-wheel drive as an option. It had good approach and departure angles, along with plenty of ground clearance. It also had skid plates underneath to protect its undercarriage, as well as optional front and rear locking differentials that allowed for maximum traction in challenging terrain. The Colorado also had a towing capacity of 7,000 lbs when properly equipped, which made it an ideal choice for those needing a truck for light hauling duties.

Overall, the Chevrolet Colorado from 2013 to 2020 was a great choice for those looking for a midsize pickup truck that packed plenty of power, was comfortable inside and out, and could venture off-road with ease. Its well-rounded nature meant it could be used as both a work truck and daily driver, and its decent towing capacity made it a solid choice for those needing a compact but capable hauler.
