We are a father and son welding and fabrication shop located a couple miles West of Haynesville, LA. We have capabilities to work with aluminum, stainless, and carbon steel with MIG, TIG, and Stick processes, and torch and plasma cutting processes.
We decided to offer fabrication of MOVE bumpers as one of our services after I tried out front and rear bumper kits on my own truck, a 2001 F-250 Super Duty. I was very impressed with the look and fitment of these kits on my truck and have received dozens of compliments about these bumpers in the 2 years since I installed them.
These kits offer more than just an awesome look. They offer some real savings. With our shop handling the fabrication and painting, you can get a MOVE front or rear bumper for under $1,000 total cost to you, installed. That is a significant savings of up to several hundred dollars over other bumper options out there.
For instance, the price of a Road Armor® Prerunner front bumper for my truck is around $1900. That is more than I paid for my front and rear MOVE bumper kits, 12k winch, 6 LED cube lights, and wiring kits for the winch and lights all together. Don't forget you've got to install that Road Armor® too.

Our Service:
You schedule a day to drop your truck off at our shop in the morning for us to pull your existing bumper off and tack out your MOVE bumper kit. Then we'll pull it off your truck for the rest and reinstall your existing bumper so you can have your truck back the same afternoon. In 1-2 business days your bumper will be welded out and painted. When you're ready, come back and we'll install your new MOVE bumper for you.
Our Pricing:
Most MOVE bumpers can be fit up, welded out, painted, and installed at our shop for $500 or less. Standard front bumpers with 2 light cutouts, no rails, and no winch mount are $450. For a front bumper with all of those options it will cost $650. Rear bumpers are $400 with up to 2 light cutouts. We can add 1/2" thick clevis mounts to rear bumpers for $50/pair.
Options:
Installation and wiring of lights, including license plate lights, are not included in the fabrication pricing above. These can be installed by us at the shop rate of $50/hour plus materials (lights, wiring, protection, and switches). For 4 cube lights, or a single light bar and 2 cube lights, in the front bumper, this will usually cost $150 in labor plus the cost of any materials we provide. You can save money by providing us with your own lights and painless wiring installation kits.
Savings and Referrals:
If front and rear bumpers are done at the same time we'll take $50 off the total price.
For every successful referral to us you will receive a $25 Amazon gift card, per bumper. In other words if you send 5 of your buddies to us and we fab front and rear bumpers for each of them, you'll get $250 in Amazon gift cards.
Clarifications:
Painting includes cleaning up all welds and spatter, degreasing the metal, priming, and top coating in flat/satin/glossy (your preference) solid black. Custom paint matching with automotive coatings or powder coating is available but will cost extra and add a few days to the process.
There are no standard sizes for winches. If your front bumper comes with a winch mount we require that your actual winch be left with us for proper fitment of the mount. The good news is that we will mount your winch and fairlead at no extra cost. MOVE bumper kits do not include bracing for winch mounts so we add 1/4" thick gusset braces.
