Build your perfect front bumper with the Classic Prefab bolt-together kit. Made for easy assembly, this prefabricated kit is constructed from heavy-duty 3/16" U.S. steel and laser-cut for your vehicle. Customizable to include protection options, light cutouts, center designs and custom text.

Each kit ships as raw, unpainted steel and includes the main bumper shell pieces, frame mounts, and hardware for quick assembly. Use factory bolts to mount the front bumper to your vehicle once the bumper kit has been assembled and painted.

WHAT IS A DIY BUMPER KIT?

Our DIY bumper kits are a weld-it-yourself alternative to the expensive fully-finished bumpers on the market. You customize your bumper kit, and we ship it to you in pieces ready to be welded together and mounted to your truck, SUV, or van.Don't want to weld? Check out our Classic Prefab Bumper Kits! These prefabricated kits come in three main modular pieces that bolt together with common garage tools.

WHAT COMES WITH A DIY BUMPER KIT?

MOVE DIY Bumper Kits ship as an unfinished kit of raw steel pieces, including 5 main pieces, frame mounts, and a few trim pieces. You'll use your own factory bolts. The pieces are pre-cut and pre-bent to fit your truck’s specific make, model and year and come ready for you to fit and weld together, using your truck as the jig, before bolting onto your truck. Instructions and assembly drawings are included to help walk you through your bumper build.Please note: Cutting, mitering or coping is required for the tube portion of bull bar, prerunner, and full grille bumper kits.

WHAT ARE THE BUMPER KITS MADE OF?

Our standard bumper kits are made of 3/16" steel plate (9 gauge). Our offroad bumper kits (Classic and Embark) are made of 1/4" steel plate for the center section and frame mounts and 3/16" for the wing sections. All bumper kits are made in Montana with U.S. steel.

DO THE BUMPER KITS COME PAINTED?

No they do not. All bumper kits come as raw (unpainted) steel. Painting, powder coating or lining must be done after the bumper is welded or bolted together.

"recently bought a classic prefab for my 4th gen 4runner and man does it look sweet. pretty straight forward to put together, you might need to get 1” bolts instead of the supplied 1. 5” because the bolts used to fasten the pieces together are a tad too long. other than that it went on like a dream and it looks like one too. the quality is exceptional and the durability is too."

Makes the truck look so much tougher!!!!

"Absolutely love this bumper. The fitment is spot-on, the welds are clean, and the overall design completely transformed the front of my truck. It’s solid, heavy-duty, and you can tell it’s built to last. Once it was on, the truck instantly looked meaner and tougher — exactly what I was going for. I haven’t installed the LED fog lights yet, but the mounting and cutouts look well thought out, and everything lines up perfectly. Worth the money, looks great, not perfect.

"As with most products these days, there are pros and cons. Definitely happy with the bumper and a majority of the quality with it. Waiting for a discount opportunity had us pulling the trigger on it. Pros: It's really the only sturdy bumper we could find for a gen 3 Dakota. Thankfully, it's a great look and design and made in America. Packaging was perfect and the wait to fabricate wasn't too long, IMO. The fit-to-body is spot-on and it looks great on the truck. If choosing the light bar option, I'd suggest also buying some expanded metal grate to cut and add as a rock guard for the light bar. Cons: The factory frame bumper mounts are square with 4 bolts each side. Move's mount is rectangle with 2 bolts, each side, concentrating any impact to only half the frame surface area. This was a big dislike for me and seems pointless to compromise this area. I had to weld up the cut areas where the wings were folded to shape the mounting surface as there were exposed holes left between the wing and center section. To Move's credit, their customer support was responsive and offered a credit or replacement. The holes to mount the light bar bracket or center insert were drilled 1/4" for 1/4" bolts. The bolt would barely make it through raw and definitely not after painting or coating, so I'd suggest drilling those at 17/64" to accommodate before painting or coating."
