WHAT IS A DIY BUMPER KIT?

A WELD-IT-YOURSELF ALTERNATIVE TO ALL FINISHED BUMPERS ON THE MARKET

The patented MOVE DIY Bumper Kit is revolutionizing the way you customize your pickup or SUV. Instead of blowing more than a grand on a pre-assembled aftermarket bumper or wasting your time with cheap(er) but low-quality bumpers, join the MOVE Nation by building your own heavy duty DIY truck or SUV bumper.

MOVE bumper kits are manufactured with heavy-duty U.S. steel and allow for extra customization after the bumper build, while still at an extremely low price point.

Using state-of-the-art 3D technology, laser, CNC machines and metal-forming equipment, our DIY Bumper Kits are manufactured specifically for your truck’s make, model and year. Made of 3/16-inch plate steel (9 gauge), MOVE heavy-duty DIY Bumper Kits come with all the pieces you need to weld your bumper together quickly then easily mount onto your truck or SUV. WHAT DO YOU GET WITH A MOVE DIY BUMPER KIT?

The MOVE DIY Bumper Kit includes all the main pieces you need to build your heavy duty steel truck bumper, including 5 main pieces, frame mounts, a few trim pieces and clevis hooks. You'll use your own factory bolts. The pieces are pre-cut and pre-bent to fit your truck’s specific make, model and year and come ready for you to fit and weld together, using your truck as the jig, before bolting onto your truck. Also included in your DIY Kit are instructions and assembly drawings to walk you through your bumper build.

Please note: Cut, miter or coping is required for the tube portion of 1.5 & 2.5 prerunners as well as our full grille bumper kits.

CUSTOMIZING A MOVE DIY BUMPER

Built to be completely customizable to fit your desired look and lifestyle, we not only offer plenty of custom options when ordering your DIY Kit but it is simple to personalize your custom bumper while building your kit.

CUSTOM OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE DIY BUMPER KIT

Wing Light Holes: Bumper kits come standard with no light holes. However, you can customize your bumper to have 1 or 2 sets of light holes at a small additional charge.

Offroad Upgrade: Available on the Classic Series allows for 1/4" center, 1/4" frame mounts and larger clevis hooks.

Winchmount Setup: We can cut a lead hole for the winch in the front of the bumper, along with a 1/4” winch mounting plate and two access holes.

Note: Our winch is modeled after a basic/standard 8000 lb. Warn winch.

Center Light Holes: You can add a 20” or 30" light bar to your bumper kit for a small customization fee.

Center Designs: You have the ability to add a center design such as the U.S. flag, mountains, antlers, fish, Fire, EMT, Police, Military, and more on all Classic or Precision Series bumper kits.

Custom Text: Add custom text such as your Instagram handle, truck/SUV name, nickname, etc. to the center of your Classic Series bumper kit.

The Bumper Kit comes to you in heavy-duty, pre-cut and pre-bent U.S. raw steel. Many customers paint, bedline, or powder coat their bumper before bolting it onto their truck. We don’t offer an option to remove the MOVE logo from the bumper at this time. You can select the smaller and relocated logo option on the Classic Series, the center design or custom text option.
