What makes a bumper an “off-road bumper?”
If you don’t know what we mean by “off-road bumper,” let’s start there. Off-road bumpers are heavy duty, aftermarket bumpers designed to add extra protection, power and utility to your truck. Plus, they look badass.
Our Off-road Upgrades
Like all of our DIY bumper kits, our Off-road Upgrade gives you the best bang for your buck. For $130-$160, you can add our off-road package to your bumper, which features an upgraded center section with ¼ inch plate steel, ¼ inch frame mounts, and larger, ¾ inch plate clevis hooks — additionally, you can choose the off-road upgrade that includes a ¼ winch mounting plate.
For those who need a little more explanation, we’ve broken it down:
A winch mount attaches to the front of your truck to work with a winch so you can:
- Pull other vehicles
- Move heavy/cumbersome items
- Attach a plow
Clevis hooks are heavy duty steel hooks which also make your truck stronger for:
- Chain hookup
Translation? Our off-road upgrades make your truck strong as heck.

While most aftermarket bumpers are referred to as “off-road,” your bumper isn’t living up to its full off-road utility potential until you add these additional features. The off-road bumper upgrade is available on every bumper in our Classic series, which includes all of the following:
- Classic Front
- Classic 1.5” and 2.5” Prerunners
- Classic Square Force Prerunner
- Classic Tubular Sport Prerunner
- Classic Full Grille
